Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a dynamic Dispatcher to coordinate truck driver assignments and ensure accurate bookings and billing. You will input planning data, communicate with the terminal, and adapt to changes to meet customer needs.

Ideal candidates have trucking or intermodal experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We offer benefits including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance.
• Familiarity with DOT safety compliance.

• Computer Savvy.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch truck drivers for pick-ups at customer locations, local ports, and railroads.
• Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements.
• Enter data in the computer for planning and general information.
• Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding specific customer requests.
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs.
