Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking a transportation/bridge leader to serve as Tennessee Bridge Practice Lead for Franklin, TN. This leadership role will oversee statewide bridge and structural engineering, driving strategic growth and operational performance within the transportation business.

The role requires leading proposals, managing key client accounts, and mentoring engineers while ensuring technical excellence and asset management best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in bridge/structural engineering.
• Active Tennessee PE license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead the statewide Bridge Engineering Practice for Tennessee.
• Execute annual strategic growth plans.
• Identify emerging market opportunities and transportation trends.
• Develop a comprehensive business development plan for the Tennessee bridge market, in coordination with regional plans.
• Serve as Program Manager for key Tennessee transportation clients, in coordination with the Tennessee Transportation leader and Strategic Programs Manager.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with TDOT, local governments, planning organizations, and private development clients.
• Lead proposal development and project pursuit strategies.
• Participate in client interviews and contract negotiations.
• Represent AECOM at conferences, professional meetings, and industry events.
• Be a senior technical resource and serve as technical advisor for the team, maintaining responsibility for technical oversight and quality management of all team deliverables.
