AECOM is seeking a Transportation leader to serve as Traffic Engineering Practice Lead for Tennessee. The role oversees statewide practice growth, technical excellence, and client relations with TDOT and municipal partners.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in traffic operations, ITS, multimodal planning, and leadership of large teams, with a track record of program delivery and business development. Eligible for sponsorship may be considered for qualified US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is preferred.
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification is desirable.
• Road Safety Professional (RSP) certification and IMSA Traffic Signal certs are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the statewide Traffic Engineering Practice for Tennessee.
• Develop and implement annual strategic growth plans and client strategies.
• Maintain executive-level relationships with TDOT, local governments, planning groups, and clients.
• Provide technical oversight for traffic studies, signals, ITS, and multimodal projects.
• Lead staff recruitment, mentoring, performance reviews, and professional development.
