Job summary

Nordex SE in Iowa/USA seeks a Tender Manager- Commercial Contracts to support tendering and contract negotiations for wind projects. You will mitigate risk, perform cost estimates for bids, and coordinate with sales, planning, procurement and logistics to ensure successful project execution.

The role requires leadership in negotiations, strong commercial acumen, and travel up to 25% within USA, Canada, and Germany. A related degree and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters in Sales Engineering, project management, business management or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience with multi-million-dollar contracts and strong commercial/financial knowledge.
• Contract negotiation experience is necessary (preferably in related industries).
• Project management experience or heavy construction exposure (wind energy/turnkey projects) is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; proactive and independent.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations for PM topics with clients, virtually and in-person.
• Provide risk identification, review and mitigation to project teams and ensure risk measures are in contracts.
• Provide cost calculations to support project execution schedules (WTG installation, crane works, etc).
• Coordinate project schedules with planning, procurement and logistics teams.
• Provide in-depth project handovers to execution teams.
• Support clients and BOP contractors with PM-related questions during sales phase.
• Represent Nordex to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
