Job summary

Turner & Townsend in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee tenant improvement and interior fit-out projects for a high-profile technology client. You will lead client interfaces, manage budgets, schedules, governance, and risk while coordinating with consultants to deliver high-quality spaces.

You will drive project planning, monitoring, and reporting, mentor team members, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Construction project management experience in client-facing roles.
• PMP certification and degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations.
• Experience managing commercial real estate or similar projects.
• Tenant Improvement and fit-out experience for CRE projects.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with client and consultants at all project stages.
• Financial management and monitoring project status in the accounting system.
• Developing detailed project plans and schedules.
• Monitoring performance and applying management techniques.
• Managing change control processes and communications.
• Preparing budget progress reports and governance documentation.
• Ensuring quality standards compliance and safety awareness.
• Developing proposals for new work or variations.
• Improving PM procedures, templates, and project tools.
• Ensuring line manager awareness of QA, safety, and environment issues.
