Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience in financial services, food service, hospitality or retail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
• Professional and understanding in all interactions.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service, integrity, and resourcefulness.
• Eagerness to learn and improve.
• Savvy with PCs, email, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members through prompt, courteous interactions.
• Analyze member needs while processing transactions and offer education on products to improve financial health.
• Build relationships through active listening and effective communication to recommend suitable products.
• Open accounts and submit simple loan applications after needs assessment.
• Engage with members via follow-up calls and community events as appropriate.
• Partner with branch leadership to maintain operational integrity and mitigate risk.
• Work cross-functionally to handle complex inquiries and concerns.
• Adopt new tools to enhance member experience and consultation process.
• Exercise sound judgment to accommodate members.
• Train new and existing team members as appropriate.
• Promote adoption of digital products and campaigns.
• Comply with applicable laws and Patelco policy.
• Assess risk and drive compliance mindset.
• Other duties as assigned.
