Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of banking or financial services experience, teller/cashier.
• Strong mathematical and grammatical skills for accurate calculations and clear communication.

• Strong typing and data entry accuracy.
• Proficient in processing over-the-counter financial transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Capable in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and guide customers to specialists as needed.
• Accurately handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Process various financial transactions, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and change orders.
• Assist with processing check orders, issuing debit cards, maintaining accounts, and updating CIF records.
• Perform general maintenance on customer accounts, such as address changes and stop payments.
• Oversee and process complex customer transactions, providing overrides or approvals as needed.
• Mentor tellers, assist with training, and delegate tasks effectively.
• Review and verify transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and reconcile branch cash and currency/coin allocation.
• Perform vault duties and coordinate with back-office on outages.
• Promote bank products and services and refer customers to appropriate channels.
• Conduct branch opening/closing duties in line with security requirements.
• Participate in branch audits and ensure compliance with policies.
• Support branch management with teller reports and shipment records.
• Maintain knowledge of daily ATM balancing and related maintenance.
