Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Head Teller to oversee the teller line operations and support a universal banker role in meeting customer needs. The role includes supervising tellers, managing workflow, and ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliations.

In addition to daily supervision, the Head Teller will monitor compliance with policies, identify fraud risks, and assist with audits, currency shipments, branch openings, and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; banking or teller experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervises tellers, coordinates workflow and assists on teller line.
• Ensures professional conduct in handling customer needs.
• Performs reconciliations and corrects errors as needed.
• Keeps staff updated on operations and policy changes.
• Identifies fraud red flags and prevents losses.
• Assists in audits, currency shipments, and branch openings.
• Handles customer inquiries and online banking support.
• Balances cash drawers and monitors currency supply.
• Refer opportunities to sales partners and establish new accounts.
• Supports ATM operations and banking reports.
