Job summary

American Family Insurance in Madison, WI seeks a software engineer with strong Node.js and Java API development expertise to build scalable, secure applications and APIs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Analyze high level system specs and derive low level designs.
Create design plans and identify system dependencies.
Provide documentation for decisions, estimates, modules, and performance metrics.
Conduct and participate in testing (unit and integration).
Lead or participate in development walkthroughs.
Collaborate on improving system flow, data usage and processes.
Ensure software meets standards for performance, quality, and security; identify areas for improvement in planning, design, testing.
