Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions seeks a Telecom Analyst IV / Senior Power Engineer for a 12-month W-2 contract to support telecom power systems, AC/DC power design, UPS and battery monitoring. The role focuses on design, implementation, testing, and documentation of complex power solutions for telecom infrastructure, with knowledge of grounding, TCP/IP basics, and Agile work practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 6 years power engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with 240/120 VAC power systems.
• Experience with 48V DC power systems.
• Experience with backup generators and UPS systems.
• familiarity with NEC and grounding standards for telecom shelters and towers.
• Strong documentation skills including EJPs, drawings, and network diagrams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AC/DC power solutions for telecom sites.
• Prepare engineering job packages with parts lists and installation instructions.
• Prepare cost estimates, economic studies, and work orders for planned installations.
• Coordinate with team members to implement projects and provide 3rd level support.
• Maintain familiarity with current telecom technology and facilities.
• Provide technical assistance to NOC, installation, and maintenance personnel.
