Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and upgrades of DC power systems across telecom, UPS, and utility environments. This is a field-based role with frequent travel and exposure to critical infrastructure projects.

You will install and maintain battery systems, rectifiers, and DC power plants, perform upgrades, work with distribution equipment, run power cables, and take voltage readings while ensuring safe, high-quality work at customer

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain battery systems, rectifiers, and DC power plants
• Perform power plant upgrades and replacements
• Work with distribution equipment (PBDs, BDFBs, BDCBBs), inverters, and converters
• Run and terminate power cables (lug crimping, lacing, routing)
• Take voltage and specific gravity readings
• Support AC power systems (120V single-phase to 480V three-phase)
• Ensure safe, high-quality work at customer sites
