Job summary

Telamon Corporation is seeking an Installer IV to independently execute complex field activities related to installing, maintaining, and servicing telecommunications equipment. This role requires extensive industry knowledge and the ability to guide less experienced installers.

Responsibilities include following safety practices, installing and configuring equipment, testing fiber/copper systems, documenting work, and coordinating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years electronics training required.
• Minimum six years field service experience.
• Experience leading or training installers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate telecommunication equipment in central offices.
• Mount racks and arrange power systems per specs.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber and copper installations.
• Lead and train junior installers on site.
• Prepare Method of Procedure (MOP) and JIMs.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to align plans.
