About the role

Samsara is seeking a Senior Telecom Global Supply Manager to support our growing Production Procurement team. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Customer Support teams to shape our Telecom partnerships. Connectivity is vital to our service offerings. You will own the relationships with Telecom partners, focusing on service continuity, cost and rate optimization, network operations, and project execution. You will ensure a world-class connectivity experience for our customers, supporting new launches and existing devices. Ideal candidates should have experience in IoT connectivity at Operators or within the OEM landscape.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US, excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. This role requires limited, intermittent travel.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing global Telecom partner relationships, focusing on cost, service levels, coverage, and technology.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer connectivity, building resilient networks, and managing service continuity.
3. Developing long-term connectivity strategies for expansion and technology integration.
4. Onboarding new operators, technologies, and SIM management platforms.
5. Improving network operations, analytics, SLA enforcement, and service assurance.
6. Serving as a subject matter expert on Telecom sourcing, trends, vendor management, and regulations.
7. Embedding Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.

Minimum requirements:

1. 10+ years in Telecom or Connectivity sourcing within Operator, OEM, or IoT device environments.
2. Expertise with SIM management, eUICC/eSIM deployments, and IoT telecom services.
3. Understanding of the Telecom ecosystem, including network architectures, service providers, and technology evolution (LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G, 6G, NTN).
4. Ability to work across technical and commercial teams.
5. Advanced analytical skills in rate benchmarking, cost modeling, and negotiations.
6. Strong organizational skills to manage complexity.
7. Ability to translate data into strategic insights and business cases.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of critical thinking under pressure.
9. Strong influencing skills and executive presence.
10. Bachelor’s in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.

Salary Range:

$141,008—$226,620 USD annually, varies by location and experience.
