Job summary

Connectivity Point is seeking an experienced Telecom Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for structured cabling and telecommunications projects from initial bid through award. Collaborate with Account Executives, Operations, customers, engineers, and subs to meet project requirements, codes, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred.
• Current RCDD with BICSI and 5–10 years of RCDD experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of telecom and structured cabling incl. voice/data/fiber.
• Knowledge of BICSI, TIA, NEC codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and specs; develop cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, competitive estimates for structured cabling and telecom projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare material takeoffs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Coordinate with Account Executives, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure estimates comply with standards and customer requirements.
