Job summary

Connectivity Point seeks an experienced Telecom Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for structured cabling and telecom projects from bid to award. You will work with account executives, operations, customers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet codes and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong telecom cabling knowledge and a BICSI RCDD certification (or ability to obtain). South Carolina operations support is included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in telecommunications and structured cabling design.
• Strong knowledge of codes (BICSI, TIA, NEC) and industry standards.
• Ability to develop accurate project estimates from drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate estimates for structured cabling and telecom projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs and create BOMs.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and subcontractors on bids.
