Job summary

Connectivity Point is seeking an experienced Telecom Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for structured cabling and telecommunications projects from bid to award. The role collaborates with Account Executives, Operations, customers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a current BICSI RCDD certification or other BICSI certification, with extensive industry experience and the ability to obtain an RCDD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RCDD accreditation with BICSI and 5–10 years experience as an RCDD developing communications cabling designs for commercial structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and competitive estimates for structured cabling and telecommunications projects.
• Review project drawings, specs, and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate material pricing and develop Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Use estimating software to prepare proposals and scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Account Executives and customers to meet project requirements.
