Job summary

VertiGIS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Telco solutions implementations, migrations, and optimizations. You will manage end-to-end delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align business stakeholders with technical delivery.

The ideal candidate has a background in data migration, GIS, telecom infrastructure, or enterprise asset management, plus proven project leadership. Join a collaborative, international team working on ConnectMaster and related telco platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in telecom, utilities, or GIS environments.
PMP and/or Agile/Scrum certification.
Proven experience delivering data migration and system implementation projects.
Strong understanding of data migration strategies and reconciliation processes.
Experience with GIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS) and ETL processes and data integration.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordinate data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
Oversee integration & implementation across GIS platforms, ETL pipelines, APIs, and external systems.
Partner with technical leads to define solution architecture, data flows, and system interfaces.
Ensure alignment between Customer and VertiGIS teams and stakeholders.
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with proactive mitigation strategies.
Facilitate UAT, testing cycles, and go-live readiness.
Establish and track KPIs (schedule adherence, data quality, performance).
Drive clear communication across all levels, including executive reporting.
Ensure governance, documentation, and change management processes are followed.
Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.
