Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Senior Tekla Detailer to join our team and lead 3D modelling and fabrication drawings for complex steel projects. This role requires deep understanding of fabrication and construction processes and the ability to guide junior detailers and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of Tekla detailing experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of AISC codes, clash detection, QA/QC, and shop drawing production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Tekla detailing experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong ability to interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Experience with clash detection and QA/QC checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modelling and detailing for complex projects.
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings.
• Interpret drawings and design intent for fabrication.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, junior detailers, and shops.
• Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, BOMs and NC files.
• Review drawings for quality and compliance; manage revisions.
