Atlantic Constructors is seeking an experienced Tekla Detailer to produce 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects. You will work under senior detailers and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The role supports remote work for candidates in select states, with strong Tekla proficiency and knowledge of AISC requirements. 2+ years of experience is required, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel)
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
• Strong knowledge of AISC, or relevant industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Experience with clash detection and coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for assigned projects using Tekla Structures
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent
• Produce shop drawings, erection drawings, material take-offs, generate BOMs/NC files, follow company drawing standards and QA checklists
• Coordinate with senior detailers, engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Review and check drawings for quality, completeness, and compliance with project standards
• Manage revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in resolving design and fabrication issues
