Job summary

The Hackett Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead Technology Transformation engagements in North America, focusing on AI-enabled strategy, operating models, and change programs.

You will guide client teams, analyze complex problems, and deliver practical recommendations to improve performance and reduce costs. The role demands strong analytical abilities, hands-on data work, and the ability to translate business needs into executable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills; ability to turn data into insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of AI architecture and enabling technologies, including data platforms, cloud services, AI/ML, Generative AI, model orchestration, and MLOps/LLMOps concepts.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and prioritizing AI and automation use cases based on business value, data readiness, feasibility, risk, and implementation complexity.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, model risk, and compliance considerations for enterprise AI adoption.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solution concepts, high-level designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans for client stakeholders.
• Understanding of business strategy, technology operations, and transformation levers across one or more target industries.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple priorities in a client-service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing client-ready deliverables.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead client workstreams and deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget.
• Analyze data, processes, operating models, and technology capabilities to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Structure complex problems, develop insights, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Conduct client interviews and working sessions to understand business needs, pain points, and transformation priorities.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, data visualizations, roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Support implementation activities, change initiatives, and ongoing client relationship management.
• Coach and supervise junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing consulting team.
