Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Designer to lead the design of telecommunications, cabling, audiovisual, and security systems for building projects. You will work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams, guiding design from concept through construction documents and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Required: 8+ years in Technology Systems design for buildings, proficiency in Autodesk Revit, and a BICSI RCDD certification; AVIXA CTS a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing Technology Systems for buildings
• Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff
• Experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual and electronic security systems
• AEC industry experience and ability to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Lead design of telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security systems
• Develop and oversee Revit models, layouts, specs, and construction documents
• Coordinate designs with clients, architects, engineers and other disciplines
• Attend client and project meetings to define scope and requirements
• Mentor junior staff and oversee day-to-day design tasks
• Ensure projects meet Wiley|Wilson quality standards, schedules and budgets
