Job summary
Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Senior Technology Systems Designer to lead the design and delivery of telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security systems for building projects. You will work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams, providing technical expertise throughout the design process and mentoring junior staff.
The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, Autodesk Revit proficiency, and a BICSI RCDD certification; AVIXA CTS is a plus.
Qualifications
- 8+ years designing technology systems for buildings (AEC).
- Experience with telecommunications, cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of telecommunications, cabling, audiovisual, and security systems.
- Develop and oversee Revit models and construction documents.
- Coordinate designs with clients, architects and engineers.
- Attend client and project meetings to align scope and design.
- Mentor junior staff and manage design tasks.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
