Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Advanced Specialist to lead cross-system analysis for PPA initiatives. You will serve as a senior business analyst, shaping solution direction, mentoring peers, and improving analysis standards across teams.

You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Operations, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of business analysis or technology delivery experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile, hybrid, or enterprise delivery environments.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, reporting, operational workflows, and platform modernization.
• IIBA certification or Agile certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives involving multiple Pearson systems, workflows, data domains, and teams.
• Use AI-assisted analysis for requirement synthesis, gap detection, stakeholder alignment, and data insight generation.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, decision forums, design alignment sessions, and cross-functional reviews.
• Translate strategic objectives into product/system capabilities, data requirements, and delivery-ready backlog artifacts.
• Own requirements strategy, traceability, impact assessments, and risk identification for complex work.
• Drive alignment between Product, Engineering, Architecture, CX, Data, Security, QA, Operations and business stakeholders.
• Promote maintainable, reusable solutions and reduce unnecessary customization and technical debt.
• Define and improve templates, practices, and quality expectations for requirements and documentation.
• Develop reusable AI prompts, checklists, and templates to improve BSA productivity.
• Provide advanced data analysis and insight to support decisions, prioritization, and reporting requirements.
• Mentor peers through artifact review and domain coaching.
• Support release readiness and ensure handoffs and signoffs are complete; testing remains with QA.
• Identify AI-enabled process improvements across Pearson VUE workflows and reporting.
