Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Advanced Specialist to lead cross-system analysis for PPA initiatives, shaping solutions and mentoring peers. The role spans product, engineering, data, security, and operations, ensuring scalable and maintainable technology outcomes.

The candidate will mentor teams, drive requirements strategy, and enable effective decision making across stakeholders. Remote work within the United States is supported, with a compensation range reflecting market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8+ years of business analysis, business systems analysis, systems/product analysis, data analysis, or technology delivery experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile, Hybrid, or enterprise delivery environments.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, reporting, operational workflows, and platform/process modernization.
• IIBA certification, Agile certification, Pearson partner certifications, IT-related badges, and/or test assessments experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives across multiple Pearson systems, workflows, data domains, and teams.
• Use AI-assisted analysis for requirement synthesis, gap detection, stakeholder alignment, and data insight generation.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, design alignment sessions, and cross-functional requirement reviews.
• Translate business objectives into product/system capabilities, data requirements, and delivery-ready artifacts.
• Own requirements strategy, traceability, dependencies, impact assessments, and risk identification.
• Drive alignment between Product, Engineering, Architecture, CX, Data, Security, QA, and operations.
• Promote reusable solutions, reduce customization and technical debt, and support standards.
• Develop templates, checklists, and templates for requirements, user stories, data mapping, and stakeholder docs.
• Create AI prompts and templates to boost BSA productivity and consistency.
• Provide advanced data analysis to support decisions, prioritization, and reporting needs.
• Mentor peers through artifact reviews and domain coaching.
• Support release readiness with documented decisions and handoffs.
