Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Lead, Technology Risk and Control to drive the Technology Risk Treatment practice and ensure effective operation of the risk acceptance process across the Technology organization.

You will influence senior technology and business leaders, produce high-quality risk assessments, and participate in governance forums to challenge and advance the firm’s risk posture globally.

Qualifications

• Broad expertise in technology and cybersecurity risks and controls.
• Strong ability to communicate risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering management-level risk materials and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technology Risk Treatment process and coordinate with control officers and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to technology and business partners seeking risk acceptances and remediation options.
• Develop risk assessments, KPIs, and governance materials for senior leadership review.
• Run risk treatment governance forums and ensure actions are tracked to resolution.
• Coach and mentor team members to ensure quality and consistency.
