Job summary

Fidelity's Technology Risk organization in Durham, NC seeks a Principal Technology Risk Analyst to lead highly complex risk assessments and controls testing across distributed, cloud, and vendor environments. You will influence risk decisions with senior stakeholders and drive remediation of significant control gaps.

You bring 8+ years in technology risk, strong knowledge of frameworks, and the ability to mentor teams while advancing testing methodologies and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 8+ years of technology risk, IT, cybersecurity, cloud, analytics, audit, or related risk roles.
• Experience leading complex control assessments and evaluating control maturity across diverse technology environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security models and GRC platforms such as Archer.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly complex technology risk and controls assessments for audits and enterprise risk objectives.
• Evaluate control design and effectiveness across cloud, distributed, and vendor-hosted environments.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence risk decisions and remediation of control gaps.
• Apply advanced risk expertise and data-driven insights to solve risk challenges.
• Drive testing methodology enhancements, automation, and reporting processes.
• Provide leadership and coaching across workstreams to build risk capabilities.
