Job summary

Northern Trust Corp. is seeking a Senior Lead, Technology Risk & Controls to oversee SOX and SOC programs across a global technology environment. You will partner with technology leadership, compliance, internal and external audit to ensure design, implementation, monitoring and remediation of IT controls.

You will drive control maturity, manage audit readiness, and lead large-scale remediation initiatives, influencing risk-informed decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, cybersecurity, accounting, or finance.
• 10+ years in technology risk, IT audit, or SOX/SOC.
• 5+ years leading enterprise SOX/SOC programs in regulated industries.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors (e.g., big firms).

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX and SOC program governance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate remediation and evidence for audits globally.
• Assess ITGCs across IAM, cloud, change mgmt, SDLC.
• Deliver executive reporting and risk metrics to stakeholders.
