Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a risk governance professional to provide regulatory compliance support for Technology & Operations. The role drives risk assessment, control framework alignment, and data-driven reporting to senior leadership.

With 7+ years in risk/compliance, the candidate will ensure policy adherence, communicate regulatory changes, and support enterprise programs across multiple risk types. This position is based in the US, with a focus on technology risk governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Strong data analytics and presentation skills (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Certification assets: CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CISM, PMP or cloud compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert regulatory compliance support and guidance to Technology & Operations.
• Identify and communicate regulatory changes and assist with implementation.
• Improve risk requirements understanding and execution within ORM framework.
• Perform risk assessments per ORM and ECP requirements.
• Maintain PRC Framework, Tool, and Control Library for holistic risk view.
• Oversee enterprise-wide policy changes and communications.
