Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a Lead Technology Resiliency Engineer to ensure availability and recovery of critical banking services. You will translate RTOs/RPOs into technical designs, validate data protection, and drive automated recovery procedures across platforms.

You will partner with Operational Resilience and IT teams to validate resiliency tests, document gaps, and implement improvements, ensuring a robust, auditable recovery posture for complex banking systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on infrastructure, cloud, app-platform, database, SRE or DR engineering experience.
• Strong analysis, documentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience with banking tech risk, cyber, and third-party risk expectations.

Responsibilities

• Map critical services and technology dependencies.
• Develop and validate dependency maps, data flows, and recovery sequencing.
• Define ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM resiliency data and relationships.
• Translate approved RTOs/RPOs into component-level recovery requirements and validate restores.
• Document vendor commitments, cloud/shared responsibilities, and escalation paths.
• Coordinate with IT owners and Operational Resilience/Business Continuity for validation and remediation.
• Lead testing, runbooks, and recovery exercises with stakeholders.
