Job summary

Stockport Council seeks a Senior TEC and Assessment Officer to join the ARCH Team, delivering holistic assessments and strong, person-centred solutions using Technology Enabled Care (TEC). You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to promote independence, safety, and wellbeing, while embracing digital tools and new approaches.

The role requires collaboration with individuals, families and partner agencies, with opportunities to influence service development and practice improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Technology Enabled Care and its role in promoting independence, prevention and wellbeing.
• Experience of undertaking holistic assessments and identifying creative, proportionate and person-centred solutions
• Strong assessment, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider complex situations and identify appropriate interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with people, families, professionals and partner organisations.
• The ability to work confidently independently and as part of an MDT.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and managing competing demands.
• A commitment to strengths-based and person-centred practice, promoting choice, control, independence and positive risk-taking.
• An understanding of relevant adult social care legislation, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
• The confidence to provide advice, share your knowledge and support colleagues in developing their understanding and use of TEC.
• Good digital skills and the ability to embrace new and emerging technologies.
• A proactive approach to service development and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and make best use of available resources.
• Professional curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to make evidence-informed decisions.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and keeping your knowledge and practice up to date.
