Job summary

Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa is seeking an Imaging Support team member to assist with basic patient care and equipment setup in a fast-paced radiology environment. This full-time day-shift role works under supervision to support nursing and radiology staff.

You will help with patient movement, daily living activities, room cleanliness and reporting changes to the care team, with BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent expected.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience.
• Licensure/certification may be used in lieu of education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain equipment.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1 year acute care experience.RDU PCTs care for patients prior to and following Radiology interventional procedures
• Monday through Friday 0830-1700 or until last patient is discharged.
