Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks a Senior Technician, Operations to support sterile dosage form development and GMP clinical supply within the FLEx-Sterile team. The role includes hands-on processing, isolator-based formulation, and visual inspection in a Grade C environment.

Successful candidates will collaborate with formulators, engineers, Quality, Safety, and Facilities to drive performance of the clinical pipeline and ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical operations.
• Experience in aseptic processing and Grade C cleanroom environments.
• Diligent with GMP documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sterile equipment following drawings for clinical development and manufacturing.
• Operate sterilization processes and manage cleaning equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and store sterile supplies ensuring inventory control.
• Prepare and formulate sterile products in open and closed systems in Grade A isolator.
• Maintain records of formulation, equipment, and environmental conditions in electronic systems.
