Job summary

Penske Vehicle Services in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a skilled Senior Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle specifications. You will address concerns identified by auditors, perform retrofits and software updates, replace worn components, and complete routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Utilize manufacturer technical and diagnostic systems, previous experience in Wi-Tech, Stellantis system.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and vehicle software updates.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a technical team.
• Ability to work with dedicated hoist, laptop, Wi-Tech, and CDA Micro Pod equipment as required.
• Some travel required, generally 3 events per year (10-15 days total).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid-level checks, tire rotations, and other basic vehicle care.
• Replace and install vehicle components and parts as required for vehicle retrofits.
• Perform vehicle and component software updates using approved manufacturer diagnostic and programming equipment.
