Shift: 2nd (14:00 - 22:00)

Responsibilities:

The Senior Technician – QC performs accurate and timely testing of routine lab samples in accordance with GMP and safety guidelines. The role includes participating in laboratory investigations, equipment calibrations, and maintenance by executing protocols and procedures. The technician also identifies and communicates opportunities for lab improvements.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

1. Accurately and safely perform test methods or related activities per procedures, reviewing results for standards compliance.
2. Enter data accurately following laboratory procedures, standards, and GMP requirements.
3. Recognize deviations from procedures and notify supervision for investigation.
4. Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
5. Perform routine equipment calibration, verification, or maintenance per protocols.
6. Maintain a safe work environment, supporting health, safety, and environmental goals.
7. Support laboratory inventory management.
8. Perform routine laboratory sanitation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (preferred).
• GMP laboratory experience, including analytical testing and documentation practices (preferred).
• Ability to work in a lab environment with PPE and safety considerations.
• Strong math, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and LIMS such as Darwin.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly.
• Focus on continuous improvement.
