This position focuses on developing and validating components, sub-systems, and systems, working closely with engineers on breakthrough technologies such as dehumidification, heat pumps, energy storage, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, repair, and maintain electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic control devices.
• Ensure proper installation and operation of electrical, mechanical, and electronic instruments.
• Operate and maintain mechanical testing equipment.
• Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, calibrations, and maintenance logs.
• Connect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Set up laboratory equipment for pressure, temperature, and electrical measurements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with EH&S standards.
• Adapt to new procedures, tools, and techniques to meet evolving role requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and team members on multiple projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, lab, or R&D environments.
• Post-secondary training such as an Associate's degree, technical certificate, or skilled trades apprenticeship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (1+ year).

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Over 2 years of experience with HVAC&R equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience with data acquisition systems like LabView.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory setup, calibration, and maintenance of measurement sensors.
• Knowledge of HVAC operation, refrigerant handling, and EPA certification.
• Understanding of safety standards including OSHA.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $41,500 - $72,625 annually
