$21.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs, and conducting training for Store Associates regarding equipment care and cleaning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in maintenance
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 1 year experience with intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Do

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, including documentation (expense vouchers, summaries, logs)

Additional Details

The hourly wage range is $21.00-$40.00, with actual wages meeting or exceeding local minimums. Premium pay may apply under certain conditions, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

Vocational or technical certification and 5 years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or related fields, or 7 years' experience in these trades. Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). One year of experience with intermediate software skills.
