Position Summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all commercial equipment to support Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs, and training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in maintenance
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record, able to pass MVR
• 1 year' experience with intermediate software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures
• Complete routine maintenance ensuring safety and functionality
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, document activities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or related trades
• Customer service skills and effective communication
• Personal accountability and time management
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and prioritize effectively
