  • Troubleshoot CNC machining and production issues involving tooling, programs, equipment, part quality, and process variation; optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle time, tool life, quality, and process reliability.
  • Work directly with operators to identify problems and implement sustainable solutions and assist with introduction of new products and transfer of products into production.

Router & Process Creation

  • Review existing routings for accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with actual manufacturing practices.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, setup sheets, tooling lists, and other production documentation.
  • Identify gaps between documented processes and actual shop-floor practices and coordinate corrective actions.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze cycle times, setup times, downtime, scrap, rework, and other manufacturing losses.
  • Develop and implement improvements that increase throughput and equipment utilization.
  • Support creation and improvement of standard work with manufacturing operators.
