NextGen Security, LLC in Miramar, FL is seeking an experienced electronic security service technician to join our growing team. You’ll lead field installations, program and commission systems, and service high-end devices across client sites. Travel may be required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with access control, IDS, and IP-based video systems, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills to support enterprise deployments.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level access control systems.
• 5+ years installing and maintaining IDS (fiber and copper).
• 5+ years working with IP-based video management systems.
• Ability to respond and troubleshoot electronic security systems.
• Extensive knowledge of maglocks, electric strikes, IP cameras.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong programming/commissioning skills.
• Knowledge of networking and storage considerations in security deployments.
• Strong IT/networking fundamentals and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with local electronic security codes and standards.

What We’re Looking For

An experienced electronic security service technician to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Project oversight in the field.
• System programming.
• Project activation and commissioning.
• Installation of field devices.
• Servicing of high-end integrated security devices.
• Some travel may be required.

What You Bring To The Table

Minimum of 5+ years of experience with installing and maintaining:

• Enterprise-level access control systems.
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
• Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
• Capable of responding and troubleshooting electronic security systems.
• Extensive knowledge in installation of maglocks, electric strikes, IP cameras, etc.
• Capable of responding and troubleshooting electronic security systems independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge and capacity in programming and commissioning of new systems.
• Demonstrates fundamental knowledge and capacity in networking and storage calculations.
• Networking and IT knowledge.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
