Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field; experience may substitute education.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation including diagrams, manuals, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support management and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and SMEs to gather and organize technical information.
• Ensure documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy and traceability.
