CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to provide consultative, analytical, and documentation support for a large Federal agency initiative. The role focuses on producing robust technical documentation across IT projects and guiding documentation through the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with development of technical documentation.
• 3+ years experience with development of user documentation.
• Fluency with industry standard technical summary and reporting techniques including Agile project management methodology.
• Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Visio.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop technical documentation for IT projects.
• Work closely with stakeholders to establish technical processes and procedures.
• Document projects through the SDLC.
• Provide status reports for multiple ongoing projects and related documentation efforts.
• Assist with both user and admin level documentation.
