Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 12+ years experience in technical writing.
• Experience with complex technical subjects.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in FrameMaker or RoboHelp.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced government/defense environment.
• Experience in high-security environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and operation guides.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and SMEs to gather information and understand technical details.
• Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect changes in technology and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality guidelines (TS/SCI).
• Review and revise documentation for consistency, completeness, and quality.
• Assist in developing templates and style guides to standardize documentation.
• Participate in meetings and briefings to stay informed and integrate new information.
• Provide guidance on best practices for technical writing and documentation processes.
