Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver internal and external documentation supporting client products and programs.
• Write, proofread, format, and edit technical and marketing documents such as errata, databooks, white papers, application notes, schematics, product briefs, newsletters, presentations, and web content, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Edit content per department guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with technical staff to ensure content accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage document review cycles and publish final versions according to company procedures.
• Meet scheduled delivery deadlines and assist in developing additional documentation as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or Master's with 3+ years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with structured documentation and XML editors (e.g., oXygen, XMetal, Quark, XMLMind).
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Perl (preferred).
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Word, Acrobat Pro, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of Perforce and Doxygen (preferred).
• Understanding of semiconductor industry terminology.
• Knowledge of x86-based computer systems and components.
• Interpersonal skills, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
