Job summary

Din Development Corporation in Washington, DC is seeking a Technical Writer to create and update a full range of technical documentation, including user guides, system specifications, and security documents. You will manage the SharePoint repository and ensure SDLC documentation is current, producing up to 100 documents per year to meet contract needs.

This position requires a BS/BA, at least 4 years of related experience, and U.S. citizenship with Public Trust / High-Risk IT clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA (or equivalent) required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with SDLC/eSDLC documentation, structured writing, and technical editing.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit technical documents and packages — reports, user manuals, SOPs, system configuration guides, briefings, and security assessment reports.
• Develop outlines and drafts for review by technical specialists and management, ensuring documents meet requirements and regulations.
• Research and gather technical information from source materials, staff, and existing documentation.
• Coordinate and perform document formatting; revise and edit text and recommend changes to conformance to standards.
• Maintain the project document repository in SharePoint and ensure SDLC documentation is created and maintained continuously.
• Route deliverables through approval workflow and incorporate stakeholder feedback; respond within ten business days.
• Other duties as assigned.
