Job summary

Diné Development Corporation seeks a Technical Writer to create and update the full range of technical documentation, including user guides, system specifications, and security documents. You will maintain the SharePoint repository and ensure SDLC documentation is current.

This role coordinates with technical staff, producing up to 100 documents annually to meet contract requirements and supporting the approval workflow and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship required; Public Trust / High-Risk IT clearance.
• Certifications preferred; none required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint; SDLC documentation, structured writing and technical editing.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit technical documents and packages - reports, user manuals, SOPs, configuration guides, briefings, and security assessment reports.
• Develop outlines and drafts for review by technical specialists and management.
• Research and gather technical information from source materials and staff.
• Coordinate and perform document formatting; revise text for conformance to standards.
• Maintain the SharePoint repository and ensure SDLC documentation is current.
• Route deliverables through the approval workflow and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
