Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a Technical Writer in Washington, DC to create and update a broad range of technical documents, including system specifications, user guides, and security documents. The role maintains SharePoint repositories and ensures SDLC documentation is current, with potential to produce up to 100 documents per year.

Minimum 4 years of related experience is required, along with a BS/BA. Public Trust / High-Risk IT clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA (or equivalent) required.
• Public Trust / High-Risk IT clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• Certifications preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with SDLC/eSDLC documentation, structured writing, and technical editing.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit technical documents and packages (reports, user manuals, SOPs, system configuration guides, etc.).
• Develop outlines and drafts for review by technical specialists and management.
• Research and gather technical information from sources and existing documentation.
• Coordinate formatting; revise text for conformance to standards.
• Maintain the document repository in SharePoint and ensure SDLC docs are current.
