Job summary

Amperesand, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join the Deployment team to develop and manage comprehensive product documentation and a customer/partner online document portal.

You will author manuals across the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, product, IT, and other teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will standardize documentation practices, manage visuals, and lead localization efforts for international markets, enabling a self-service support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical writing for hardware/software
• Authoring installation, commissioning, operations, service, and safety docs
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear docs
• Plan, build, or administer a document portal or portal access
• Experience with publishing tools and graphics tools
• Willingness to travel occasionally to sites

Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and maintain the full suite of product documentation
• Translate complex technical information into clear, standardized docs
• Manage source files, graphics, diagrams, and illustrations
• Develop documentation standards, templates, and style guides
• Plan and prioritize docs projects against product schedules
• Design, implement, and administer an online document portal
• Monitor portal usage and gather feedback for improvements
• Lead translation and localization efforts for international markets
