Job summary

Amperesand seeks a Staff or Sr. Staff Applications Engineer, Power Systems to lead customer site designs and optimize power infrastructure with Amperesand products. You will model with ETAP/SKM, create CAD blocks and single-line diagrams, and drive reference architectures.

Work with cross-functional teams to land projects, ensure site integration success, and travel to customer sites as needed. This role offers high ownership in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or PE experience.
• 7+ years of power systems engineering with ETAP/SKM modeling experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for layouts and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Own site-level system design and optimization for power infrastructure.
• Model and analyze full electrical systems around Amperesand products.
• Lead protection studies and coordinate relays, breakers, and fuses.
