Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Senior Technical Writer to build and maintain the documentation framework for its Rochester, NY operation. You will work with engineers, manufacturing teams, PM, and quality to translate complex technical knowledge into clear, usable documents.

This onsite/hybrid role demands strong writing, process alignment, and experience with documentation systems, enabling scalable knowledge capture across disciplines and lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field is required.
• 10+ years of technical documentation experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation, including specs and SOPs.
• Capture knowledge from subject matter experts and translate discussions into outputs.
• Lead interviews to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create structured, reusable documentation aligned with change and release processes.
• Manage multiple documentation projects with cross-functional input.
