Job summary
Elevait Solutions is seeking a skilled technical writer to craft and refine work instructions, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and job aids for our manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with engineers, operators, and SMEs to gather precise information and translate it into clear, user-friendly documentation.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (or significant technical writing experience), 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with significant technical writing experience.
- 3+ years of technical writing experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 documentation requirements.
- Ability to document technical manufacturing processes clearly.
- Strong written communication for translating complex information.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve work instructions, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and job aids.
- Partner with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations staff for accurate information.
- Research and analyze technical information from multiple sources for comprehensive docs.
- Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and style adherence.
- Plan, schedule, and track documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Translate complex processes into clear, user-ready documentation.
